The sales-led tier ladder (Pilot €185K / Production €480K-yr / Platform €1.4M-yr) was retired in 2026 in favour of pure self-service pricing. This datasheet is now aligned to lib/workspaces.ts TIER_PRICING and the published /pricing page. Tier values are also exposed at /api/facts/tier-allowances so a procurement team can pull them machine-readably.

1. Pricing tiers (self-service · current)

Five live tiers + two legacy tiers preserved for existing workspace records. All paid tiers ship via Stripe checkout (Stripe live mode + Resend + npm publish all in-progress for 2026-06 — see /roadmap). No SLA credits in any current tier; availability is "best-effort". No multi-year commitments required.

Legacy tiers (pilot, platform) are not exposed to new signups; an existing operator on those tiers may continue or migrate to Enterprise. Frontier-model OEM / AI-vendor channel arrangements are out-of-tier: contact strategic@promethean.software.

2. What each tier includes

Dev (€0)

Free forever. One spec, 10K entries/mo, real L12 chain, real Ed25519 signing, no hosted Bitcoin anchoring (operator self-anchors offline via the OpenTimestamps CLI). The verifier (Apache-2.0) is the same one a regulator runs. Intended for prototyping, evaluation, OSS, academic, air-gapped defence.

Team (€79 / spec / month)

Self-service Stripe checkout. Unlimited specs (priced per spec). 100K entries per spec per month. Daily Bitcoin anchoring. Workspace dashboard with continuity-break signals + spec-level activity. Email verification required (magic link at signup). Best-effort SLA.

Production (€499 / month flat)

Flat fee, up to 25 specs, 1M entries/mo across them, hourly anchoring. Operator-facing surfaces: /workspace/<id> dashboard, /admin/insights for cohort + funnel views (operator-side), /release-notes roadmap. Multi-tenant (R4) primitives ship today so a Production-tier operator can serve their own downstream tenants.

Scale (€1,199 / month flat)

5M entries/mo, 50 specs, 30-min OTS cadence. SSO + 7-year chain retention. Intended for the operator who serves a mid-size downstream customer base.

Enterprise (€2,499 / month flat)

10M entries/mo fair-use, unlimited specs, 15-min Bitcoin-anchored OTS (matches cron tick). Framework templates for all regulations in /api/facts/regulatory-coverage that ship a handoff template. Annex III handoff packet generator. Same email-verification + per-workspace-lock guarantees as every other tier — Enterprise gets cadence + allowances, not different cryptography.

3. Design-partner programme (current pre-revenue offer)

Three design partners — one fintech, one healthtech, one govtech — get the Enterprise tier free for 12 months in exchange for:

• A real production workspace running real LLM-in-the-loop decisions
• A case study published on /customers
• A monthly product-feedback session with substrate engineering
• Permission to cite the operator as a regulator-readable reference

The programme is referenced on /customers with the case-study scaffold. Slots are limited (three, one per vertical). Apply via partners@promethean.software.

4. Contract terms

5. SLA — explicitly best-effort

There are no contractual SLA credits in any current paid tier. Availability is best-effort with the following empirical track record (the substrate dashboard reports /api/status live):

Production-tier and above target hotfix-14d / fix-45d as a goal, not a contractual commitment. We will not introduce SLA credits before SOC 2 Type 1 closes (target end-2026, see /roadmap); attestation-style commitments without independent process certification are exactly the kind of marketing surface this product was built to replace.

6. Professional services

Sold separately. Day rates:

Day rates exclude reasonable travel expenses. Standard 30-day net payment terms. For most operators a 1-day spec-authoring engagement is sufficient — the spec templates at /templates cover most common cases.

7. Pricing protection

Items that are NOT subject to surprise increase:

• The verifier (verify.mjs) remains Apache-2.0 free forever
• The Python parity layer (runtime-ai-py) remains Apache-2.0 free forever
• All 50 ADRs + architecture docs + the canonical paper remain public forever
• Regulator-side verification remains free forever (we never charge regulators)
• Dev tier remains €0 forever (no rug-pull)
• Existing operator subscriptions honour their original tier pricing through their next billing cycle if tier prices change

If we change tier pricing, the change applies to new signups + renewals only. Live pricing values are always at /api/facts/tier-allowances.

8. What's pending (procurement-honest)

The engineering surface that buyer + auditor inspect (chain, signing, anchoring, verifier, schema enforcement, ingest lock, email gate, dedup, facts API) ships today. The commercial plumbing (live Stripe, real email delivery, registry distribution) is the remaining 2026-Q2 work.

9. Procurement-friendly facts

• Pre-revenue today. First paying operator pending; the design-partner programme is the bridge.
• Open-source verifier eliminates vendor lock-in at the audit layer. If Promethean disappears, you keep the chain, the verifier, and the audit bundle. The regulator can still verify.
• No data leaves your environment. Substrate is operator-side by default. Hosted Author (roadmap Q4) is opt-in EU / US / dedicated.
• 31 post-launch adversarial findings closed. Six iterative stress-test rounds 2026-05-17 → 2026-05-18; full trajectory in PROMETHEAN_THEORY_AND_FINDINGS §5; commit references on /release-notes.
• DORA-aligned vendor diligence pack available on request: financial stability, business-continuity plan, sub-processor list, security questionnaire pre-answers.

10. Next step
